I think the scenes that proved their connection was when they save each other's lives..especially when Peter fought against his mum/Nathan for Claire to stay and when Claire took the glass out of his head and brought him back to life.

The first time I realized there was a special connection between Peter and Claire was when Peter had his first vision. When he saw that he was the reason for the explosion in New York and when Claire made an appearance in there, I knew something was up. Why would he include her if she was nothing more than a cheerleader? You know. As for the episode that got me to ship them, Homecoming of course. Sure Peter may have suffered from a hero complex, but the fact that he was willing to die for her, a practical stranger, says a lot. Not only that, but when Claire went to visit him when he was being held for questioning, the feeling that Haden and Milo gave off...it just enraptured me. I was drawn in from that moment on. Damn Kring and TPTB for making them related!

It was Milo and Hayden's fault! This interview they did together made me think what kind of relationship these two wiould have in the series. Would they get together on the show? Future!Hiro tells Peter that infamous line "save the cheerleader, save the world", but why did it have to be Peter, hmmmm? They meet in Homecoming... when they were smiling at each other, I felt an instant connection between the two. He saves her and they were having eye-sex in the jail cell, and the rest is history. Season one was good to us (minus the whole uncle/niece thing).

It's perfectly describes how Claire is running away from her enemies and how she runs to the only person she felt safe with -- Peter. And Peter wants to help her, wants to try to fix her. He's her hero, that's their relationship. He saved her from the first time they met and since then he's done everything to protect her.

Well I started liking them when Peter was looking at the painting of Claire that Isaac made. He gazed at it with passion, like a need to discover something. These lines just scream Paire at me . In the beginning we meet Peter and he really believed he had an ability and a purpose (even though everyone thinks hes nuts). He meets Claire and by saving her, he confirms it. Its like his experience with her is proof that he was right to believe they each have a purpose and can do good in the world. Then they become companions because each of them was alone before they met. Claire had no one who REALLY understood. Zach knew her secret but had no ability himself. Peter was in the same position because Nathan was in denial. So when Peter and Claire find eachother they are not alone anymore.

They met because it was destiny but it was out of the blue. Claire never thought she will find someone like Peter and Peter never thought that the cheerleader he had to save could mean so much to him. They need each other, they need to show each other the way. In their relationship for me there's more than just a "family" bond. They have feelings for each other and they can't fight them. They won't say it but they always try to show it somehow. It doesn't matter if they try to run away or forget about the other, they just can't.

It was in the Pilot but it's more than one scene. It's the moments before the eclipse and the eclipse. Both were trying to to talk to someone close to them (Claire-Zach, Peter-Nathan) but they didn't understand them. They were both lost, looking for something else. They knew they wanted something different, they knew they were special. But they had something the other was missing. From that moment I started thinking they would understand each other and that they were perfect for each other.
